About This Episode

“What Food Are You Eating?” —In this podcast I will  ask deep questions about what we feed our bodies, our minds, and most importantly, our souls. Today’s question is simple, but it hits deep:
“Are you eating the food of the world… or the food of God?” Let’s break that down. Not just physically—though that matters—but spiritually.
What are you feeding your soul with? Who’s setting the table for your heart? The world… or the Lord?

Let’s talk about the “food of the world.” I don’t just mean fast food or processed snacks. I mean the things the world feeds us daily: * The need for validation from social media * The pressure to succeed by any means necessary * Distractions, comparison, materialism * Quick pleasures that leave us empty It’s like spiritual junk food. It might taste good for a moment, but it never truly satisfies. It actually makes us hungrier for the wrong things. Now let’s look at the food of God. Jesus said in John 6:35, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” That’s soul food right there. The food of God is: * His Word * His presence * His promises * His peace * His Spirit living in us When we feed on the truth of God, we’re nourished in a way the world can’t imitate. There’s joy, purpose, and strength even in the storm. And it lasts. Think of Psalm 34:8:
"Taste and see that the Lord is good."
We’re meant to taste Him—to experience Him—not just know about Him.

Let’s be real—it’s easy to eat what the world offers. It’s everywhere, and it’s tempting. But God invites us to His table every single day. So how do we choose His food? * Start the day in prayer, even if it’s short * Read Scripture like it’s your daily bread—because it is * Guard your mind—what you watch, listen to, dwell on * Surround yourself with people who feed your faith, not your fear * Fast from things that numb you to God Every meal is a choice. Every thought is a bite. What are you feeding yourself with? So, let me ask you again:
What food are you eating?
Is it feeding your soul or draining it?
Is it eternal or just empty calories for your spirit? Jesus said in Matthew 4:4, “Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.” Friends, let’s choose the food of heaven over the food of hype. Let’s sit at God’s table—where the bread doesn’t run out and the water never dries up.

Let us ask ourselves, what food are you eating?
