REFUNDS AND RETURNS POLICY

Last updated: August 2026

At For Your Glory, we want you to be happy with your purchase.

This Returns & Refunds Policy explains your rights when returning products purchased from us, including standard products, personalised products and faulty or damaged goods.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.

1. About Us

For Your Glory is operated by For Your Glory, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom.

2. Standard Products — Change of Mind

If you are a consumer who purchases a standard, non-personalised product online, you will normally have a legal right to change your mind and cancel your order.

You generally have 14 days from the day after you receive the goods to tell us that you wish to cancel.

After notifying us that you wish to cancel, you normally have a further 14 days to return the goods.

You do not need to give us a reason for exercising your statutory cancellation right.

To notify us of a return, please email:

admin@foryourglory.co.uk

Please include your:

  • full name;
  • order number;
  • product being returned; and
  • confirmation that you wish to cancel or return the relevant item.

We will then provide you with the appropriate return instructions.

3. Condition of Returned Products

You are entitled to inspect a standard product to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning in approximately the same way that you would reasonably be able to inspect it in a shop.

For clothing, this means that you may carefully try the garment on to check the size and fit.

If you intend to return an item, please:

  • keep it clean;
  • do not wash it;
  • do not wear it beyond what is reasonably necessary to try it on;
  • do not deliberately damage or alter it;
  • return any accessories or components supplied with it; and
  • where reasonably possible, return it with its original packaging.

Original packaging is preferred but will not, by itself, be made a condition of exercising a statutory cancellation right where the law provides otherwise.

If the value of the goods has been reduced because you handled them beyond what was reasonably necessary to inspect them, we may make an appropriate deduction from the refund where permitted by law.

4. Personalised and Custom-Made Products

The statutory change-of-mind cancellation right does not normally apply to goods that are:

made to your specifications or clearly personalised.

This may include products containing:

  • your name;
  • a recipient’s name;
  • custom wording;
  • a photograph supplied by you;
  • customer-supplied artwork;
  • individual engraving;
  • individually commissioned embroidery;
  • custom print designs;
  • a unique combination created specifically to your instructions; or
  • another genuinely personalised specification.

Please check all personalisation information carefully before submitting your order.

Where we send you a design proof or mock-up, you are responsible for checking names, spelling, dates, wording, Bible references, layout and other personalised information before approving production.

Once a personalised design has been approved and production has begun, changes or cancellation may no longer be possible.

5. Personalised Products That Are Faulty

The personalised-products exception applies to change-of-mind cancellations.

It does not remove your statutory rights if a personalised product is:

  • faulty;
  • damaged;
  • not as described;
  • incorrectly personalised because of an error made by us; or
  • otherwise not in conformity with the contract.

If there is a problem with a personalised product, please contact us at:

admin@foryourglory.co.uk

We will investigate and provide an appropriate remedy where required.

6. Customer-Approved Personalisation

Where we provide a proof, mock-up or design for your approval, please check it carefully.

Once you approve the design, we may rely upon that approval when producing your order.

We will not normally be responsible for spelling mistakes, incorrect dates, incorrect names, incorrect Bible references or other errors that appeared in information supplied or expressly approved by you where the finished product accurately reproduces the approved design.

However, if we make an error during production and the finished item materially differs from the design you approved, please contact us.

Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

7. Faulty, Damaged or Misdescribed Products

We are under a legal duty to supply goods that conform to the contract.

Products supplied to consumers must meet the standards required by applicable consumer law, including requirements relating to satisfactory quality, fitness for purpose and conformity with description.

If you believe that a product is:

  • faulty;
  • damaged;
  • incorrectly supplied;
  • materially different from its description; or
  • otherwise does not conform to the contract,

please contact us at:

admin@foryourglory.co.uk

Please provide:

  • your name;
  • order number;
  • description of the problem; and
  • photographs of the product and packaging where reasonably helpful.

Photographs can help us investigate the issue more quickly.

Requesting photographs does not remove any statutory rights you may have.

8. Goods Damaged During Delivery

If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

Where possible, please retain:

  • the product;
  • external packaging;
  • internal packaging;
  • delivery label; and
  • photographs showing the damage.

We may need this information when investigating the matter with the delivery company.

Failure to report damage immediately does not automatically remove your statutory consumer rights.

9. Handmade and Individually Produced Products

Many For Your Glory products are individually:

  • handmade;
  • printed;
  • embroidered;
  • engraved;
  • heat pressed;
  • sublimated; or
  • otherwise produced.

Natural and minor production variations may therefore occur.

Depending upon the product, these may include reasonable variations in:

  • embroidery positioning;
  • stitching;
  • print positioning;
  • engraving;
  • colour;
  • wood grain;
  • leather grain;
  • texture;
  • print intensity;
  • HTV placement; and
  • finish.

Minor variations of this nature will not normally constitute a fault where the product remains of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and materially consistent with its description.

10. Clothing Sizes

Please check the applicable size guide before ordering clothing.

Garment dimensions may vary slightly between manufacturers, styles and production batches.

Selecting a size that does not ultimately provide your preferred fit does not make the product faulty where the garment corresponds with the size and description supplied.

For standard, non-personalised garments purchased online, your normal cancellation rights may nevertheless apply.

Personalised garments cannot normally be returned simply because the customer selected an unsuitable size where the personalised-goods exemption applies.

This does not affect your rights where we supplied the wrong size or the product materially differs from its description.

11. Product Care and Washing

Please follow the care instructions supplied with your product or displayed on the relevant product page.

This is particularly important for:

  • heat-transfer vinyl garments;
  • printed garments;
  • white-toner transfer products;
  • embroidered garments;
  • sublimated products;
  • leather products;
  • wooden products; and
  • products containing specialist finishes.

Damage caused by misuse, incorrect washing, bleaching, excessive heat, ironing directly over decorated areas, inappropriate tumble drying or failure to follow reasonable care instructions will not normally constitute a manufacturing fault.

This does not affect your rights where a product was defective when supplied.

12. Return Postage — Change-of-Mind Returns

Where you exercise a statutory cancellation right for a standard, non-faulty product, you will normally be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods to us unless we have agreed otherwise.

We strongly recommend using an appropriate postal service and retaining proof of postage.

Please package returned products appropriately to reduce the risk of damage during transit.

13. Return Postage — Faulty or Incorrect Products

Where goods are faulty, incorrectly supplied, damaged before delivery to you or not as described, we will bear or reimburse reasonable return costs where required by law.

Please contact us before returning a faulty item so that we can provide the appropriate return instructions.

14. Refunds for Cancelled Standard Orders

Where you properly exercise your statutory right to cancel a standard online order, we will refund the amount due to you within the period required by law.

For returned goods, we may withhold reimbursement until:

  • we receive the goods back; or
  • you provide evidence that the goods have been returned,

whichever occurs first where applicable law permits this.

We aim to process eligible refunds within 5 working days after receiving and checking the returned goods.

15. Original Delivery Charges

Where required by law, a statutory cancellation refund will include the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option.

If you selected a more expensive service, such as:

  • express delivery;
  • next-day delivery;
  • timed delivery; or
  • another premium delivery service,

we are not normally required to refund the additional amount above the cost of our standard delivery service.

16. Refund Method

Refunds will normally be issued to the original payment method used to place the order unless another method is agreed or permitted by law.

The time taken for the refunded amount to appear in your account may depend upon your bank, card issuer or payment provider.

17. Exchanges

If you would like to exchange a standard non-personalised product, please contact us.

Where an exchange is available, it will be subject to:

  • stock availability;
  • the condition of the returned product; and
  • any applicable statutory rights.

Where appropriate, we may instead process a return and ask you to place a new order for the replacement item.

Personalised goods cannot normally be exchanged because of a change of mind, incorrect customer-selected size or customer-approved personalisation.

18. Incorrect Items Returned to Us

Please ensure that the item being returned is the product purchased from For Your Glory.

If we reasonably believe that an item returned to us:

  • was not purchased from For Your Glory;
  • is not the product originally supplied;
  • has been deliberately substituted; or
  • forms part of suspected fraudulent activity,

we may investigate the matter and decline a refund where no legal entitlement to a refund exists.

We reserve the right to take appropriate lawful action in cases of suspected fraud.

We do not impose an automatic investigation penalty on consumers.

19. Return Authorisation

We ask customers to contact us before returning products so that we can provide the correct return address and instructions.

Please email:

admin@foryourglory.co.uk

with your order number and details of the item being returned.

Contacting us beforehand helps us process returns efficiently.

However, failure to obtain prior authorisation will not remove a statutory right to return or reject goods where such a right exists.

20. Items That Cannot Normally Be Returned for a Change of Mind

Subject to applicable consumer law, we cannot normally accept change-of-mind returns for:

  • goods made to your specifications;
  • clearly personalised products;
  • custom engraved products;
  • individually personalised embroidered products;
  • products containing customer-supplied photographs or artwork;
  • products produced with customer-specific wording; and
  • other products falling within a statutory exception to cancellation rights.

This does not affect your rights where such products are faulty, not as described or otherwise fail to conform to the contract.

21. Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this Returns & Refunds Policy is intended to restrict or remove your legal rights.

Your rights may include remedies where goods are:

  • faulty;
  • not of satisfactory quality;
  • not fit for purpose;
  • not as described; or
  • otherwise not in conformity with the contract.

These rights exist independently of any additional returns arrangements offered by For Your Glory.
